Hello again for the last time in 2025. This is a half update on what's been happening over the back end of the year.
In and out of sickness from blowouts like Hopkin's Creek and Meredith Music Festival have left me a little weary so some well needed Christmas rest in certainly something I am looking forward to.
I spoke recently about the amazingly well put together return of Hopkin's Creek. Wild winds didn't ruin my chance to enjoy amazing performances from Dita, Katie Pearson, Magda Bytnerowitz, Plo Man & Hashmann DJ and of course Mitsuki. Not long after this festival, I returned back to Meredith to witness a magical Wax'o Paradiso closing set with notable terrific performances from Chet Faker, Rona, TV On The Radio, Omar Souleyman & Jack J. Early next year I'm locked in to revisit Wax'o at their famous open air event at the Abbotsford Convent and another return to Golden Plains in March which had a lineup too good to resist.
I recently hosted a lovely little open air event at Whitehart Bar on the Saturday before Christmas. As always, it was a lovely intimate afternoon of music. You can read my full write up on the event here.

I also recently shared news of an exciting update to the written tab of the website. I have been putting together a new written article for over a year now titled 'Social Media Is Slowly Losing It's Grip On The Underground Community.' Initially the article began as a justification for my move away from social media and the reason I have spent so much time and effort building this very website to express my work.
Rather than presenting a mudthrowing practice about my personal opinions on social media, I decided to investigate other examples within dance music that have forgone or moved away from it all together to explain my position. It has taken me quite a while to bring the piece to this point, and I am very proud and happy to get it here now for you to read. Read the article here.

While the new year period will consist of some much needed rest. I am looking into some new DJ opportunities for parties and activations in 2026, so of course if you are interested in my sound and would consider booking me, do send me an email.
I will probably be offering my next update sometime closer to February, so from me.. A Merry Christmas to you all, here's to hopefully another exciting year of music and more in 2026
