PROFILE
Luke Sevior (pronounced see-vee-ore, or simply CVR) is a student, designer, artist, writer and DJ. Driven to express himself through as many different mediums as possible he is lover of music and the arts. He has been DJing for the last 5 years and has slowly built up a record collection centered around the genres of house and deep house.
In argument against the trend of high BPM dancefloors of the early 2020's, Luke hosts his own radio show 'Tepid Rhythm' on local stream platform Area 3000 Radio showcasing his slower preferences of dance music. His earliest live performances took place in uni bars and birthday parties before sliding into the growing bar and restaurant circuit.
In 2022, he obtained a bacholors of architectural design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and is interested in the self sustainable, manouverable structures fit for repurpose with minimal environmental interferance.
As of 2024, Luke currently works full-time at the renowned Caretaker's Cottage, a public bar and listening space in Melbourne's CBD. Aside from working on the floor and behind the front bar, Luke manages and maintains the Cottage's in-house vinyl collection which has a size of approximately 2500 records. He ensures they are catalogued and clean to play on the 4x Pitt and Giblin Superwax Mini's
He still resides in his city of birth, Naarm (Melbourne).
